Hello Rafael, and welcome to the Forums!

Your Les Paul Standard was made in 2001. It`s a very nice example of the regular Standards.

As I can see from the serial number, it`s a late 2001 model (October 28th). Since, around this time Gibson did change the pickups on the Standard from the 490R/498T combination to Burstbuckers, it is very hard to tell which ones Your guitar has.

Cheers... Bence

Hello!

It's regular run model. At that time, Standards were very attractive looking. They are still very pretty too, but back then, those very desirable tops were common.

I don't know about limited runs at that time.

  • 1 month later...

Im pretty sure in 2001 they had 3 "Standard" models.. standard(LPS) , standard plus(LPS+), standard premium plus(LPSP+). And you can find the answer if you pop out the bridge PUP, it should be written in the cavity like the abbreviations I mentioned, and if you pop out the neck PUP you Can find out the color name from Gibson. Such as, Honeyburst(HB), lightburst(LB), etc. Beautiful guitars, enjoy!!
