ChopSuey Posted January 26, 2015 Share Posted January 26, 2015 Hello,i own an Epiphone SG G-400 Vintage Cherry I think the Alnico pickups that the Epi is equipped should be scrapped and instead of these,i should install new pickups. Gibsons are great, but the Gibby's will be more expensive, and push the net value of the Epi SG to unrecoverable for resale. The Duncans will be more affordable and will sound very good I'd recommend looking at the SH1 for the neck and the Jeff Beck for the bridge.
