ChopSuey
Hello,i was wondering if there is a way to get trapezoid inlays on a dot inlay fretboard. I always liked the trapezoid inlays in my epiphone and i was wondering if i could get to a guitar tech and install me trapezoid inlays in an SGJ for example. Stickers are too cheap and bad looking in the guitar
rct
Sure. The real question is do you want to pay more than the guitar cost to get them. rct
BigKahune
. As RCT says, to get the real inlays you're talking quite a bit of money. But, as you say, there are inlay stickers, like here - http://www.ebay.com/itm/like/150448100358?lpid=82&chn=ps .- much, much cheaper .
cjsinla
It would probably be cheaper to sell your current SG and buy a used SG Standard. I find it's usually cheaper and less hassle to buy what you want rather than to modify what you have into what you want.
