Stamp collection

Hello!

Very nice ones Truetone6! [thumbup]

During my childhood, I used to be a big stamp collector. I was living in Moscow back then, where collecting stamps was the national hobby. Moscow was full of huge, and beautiful stamp shops, almost at every second corner of the city!

Unfortunately, I can`t show any of them here at the Forums without risking being banned. You can imagine what was the general direction of the theme on those, - otherwise - beautiful stamps.

I have also inherited a lot from my Grandfather. I can`t show them either for the similiar reason, but from another historical era... :D

Cheers... Bence

Why would you be banned for just showing some stamps? I don't understand, sorry mate.

Well, mid-80s soviet stamps usually had the picture of the unholy triumvirate of the geniuses of the regime... You know, the three bearded guys.

Those ones, I have inherited (at least, those from late 30s) have the picture of a painter, - a misunderstood genius - who had a short, but rather turbulent career as a politician, instead.

Any questions? :D

Cheers... Bence
