Wetdog
I'm looking for a shoulder sleeve for my 1947 L-7 bridge. It fits over the bridge post and into the bridge saddle. Gibson made these bridges for a long time for their archtops so there should be some around.
slimt
those are brass leather bushings or Press rings.. just not punched to a curl.. and the saddles usually had those to prevent binding on the Screw. a saddle tack shop for horses will have those. Hogeye
Check the Stewart/Macdonald website. They have a bunch of tailpieces and parts.
daverepair
Wet dog, I believe I have what you need( I am resurrecting a '38 Epiphone Broadway. It came with a very cut down Gibson bridge, which I won't reuse). If you give me your snail mail, I'll mail it to you. Dave
Wetdog
Zip at the saddle shop, zip at guitar repair shops, zip at Stew Mac, zip at Luthiers Mercantile, zip at a zillion rivet, bushing and brass sleeve websites. Thanks to Daverepair looks like I'm getting one. I need it not just to put my L-7 back to "stock" condition, but to build a left-handed compensated bridge saddle. If I'm going to all that work, drilling the right hole and using the original part makes sense. And good luck with the '38 Epi. That's the real deal. Love to see a pic.
