Nice low action out of the box, deep yet crisp sound with plenty of jangle. Kicking myself for spending $1,200 on a Taylor that I recently sold to fund a Lee Malia Custom Artisan LP. To my amateur ears there's not much difference in tone but more volume from this one. GuitarLight Posted February 18, 2015 Share Posted February 18, 2015 Congratulations! Great deal on a great guitar! I bought my Epi 220S-V/S at GC also. The $199 price on these is just great. I can't help but comment on the fact that for a $199 laminated with a solid top is a steal. Some of the Martin and Taylor laminated guitars I've looked at cost 3 times this, and in humble my opinion, they don't play or look one bit better!
