jphilly77 Posted February 26, 2015 Share Posted February 26, 2015 Hello folks, I scored a 2012 J-45 Custom Shop 65' Reissue from Reverb a few weeks ago. Since I'm not the original owner... the paperwork did not come with it unfortunately. I reached out to Gibson right away with an email and serial number...they confirmed it was a limited run but didn't have the build sheet handy and would get back to me. It's been a few weeks and I've tried to follow up with another email and a phone call but no luck so I thought I'd try here. I can guess and assume all day long about what the build specs are... But a build sheet or some documentation would eliminate the guesswork. I just want to confirm a few things like the back and sides... I'm assuming it is Mahogany. How many are in this limited run? It was listed as "Honeyburst" on Reverb but I'd love to know for sure what Gibson calls this color. Nut & saddle material, bridge, etc... I'm aware that sometimes reissues aren't EXACTLY the same materials. SO in a nutshell...
