I was wondering if somebody allready seen such a white/unfinished neck on the sg specials? See pics in link. It looks more like the raw maple neck to me Owner says he has the reciept from a big online music store in europe and the certificate. So nothing indicates it is a fake, but I have rarely seen such a white neck on the sg. Also it caught my eye that there are kluson deluxe tuners on them instead of gibson deluxe... Serial number is legit and maybe he switched the tuners or Gibson ran out of the usual branded make and put klusons instead. I think they started staining the necks later in the run of these. It's indeed a maple neck with no stain applied but does have the satin topcoat like the rest of the guitar. Serial number is legit and maybe he switched the tuners or Gibson ran out of the usual branded make and put klusons instead. I think they started staining the necks later in the run of these.
