Lemon oil, then Fret Doctor?

Pinch

Recommended Posts

Been thinking of getting a bottle of Fret Doctor. Have a bottle of Dunlop 65 Ultimate Lemon Oil I've used for cleaning before. From what I understand, you need to clean the board before you apply Fret Dr. Not sure if lemon oil is the way to go, since the Dunlop 65 oil has sealant properties...

Or could I just use Fret Dr. to wipe gunk off the board as well as oil it? Never tried it before.

Unless there is a serious accumulation of crud, and really that only occurs when I buy used, the Fret Doctor all on its own does the job for me.
