Al B.
I have a 68 Melody Maker, SG bodied, studio model. Pickups were replaced some time ago as was the finish. Originally the guitar was Pelham Blue with white single coil pups and guard. A 3 position slide switch controlled the pup selection. Original paint was shot as well as the 3 way switch. PUPs were too low powered for stage use. Now living in Chrome Orange. Anyone else still have thiers in OEM condition? These were made for only a few years. jaygl
Don't have one, but the pickguard looks cool. Neat little guit.
Al B.
Don't have one, but the pickguard looks cool. Neat little guit. Thanks Jay. The guard is a match to the original, just black instead of white. Hard to believe no one else has one. I know they made this particular configuration for a couple of years in the late 60's. Al B.
No one out there have one of these, really? Wow, that makes it a bit more valuable regardless of the mods. Cool!
