Brian E.
Hello All I recently got a used '96 MIK Casino The pickguard seems to rattle a little on the bridge pickup. I adjusted its position slightly, but now it's just loose and flopping around a little. It's more annoying than a "tone issue", but I can't help but notice it while I'm strumming and its distracting. Should I tighten screws? take it off and put some felt on it by where it rubs the pickup? Take it off completely? Thanks!

kidblast
it's probably the screw/nut in the middle of the pickguard - the screw that holds the pickguard to the bracket. Did you check that?
crust
Try a small, appropriate sized lock washer under the nut. Or, as you stated, a piece of felt. Yes, the nut will loosen up and the attachment screw will rattle when it has loosened up. Don't let it fall off, it may get lost
