Help Id my sg

Explorer Buck

Recommended Posts

I bought a gibson sg off my mate in Hey Rosetta! And I really want to know what model it is, it has a bound neck with trapezoid inlays but a thick neck and a limited edition stamp on the head stock, it originally had a bigsby style trem but it said Maestro instead, I know it came out of Nashville on Nov 9 2000 but that's all I could find out.

The serial is 03430566

Yo buck. Welcome.

It is IMPOSSIBLE to authenticate a guitar without seeing it or it it's place having pics. Seriel numbers don't do much except tell you when a guitar might have been made.

Hello Buck, and welcome from here, too.

Besides confirming Stein's words, I want to add that you may find some serious guitar porn addicts here [scared]

... like me [blush]

So... WANNA SEE [love][biggrin]

No modern mobile phone here, so I'm clueless on them, too.

On principal, it will take an account at a provider like photobucket, loading up pics there and linking them into a post here. I do it always from my desktop, but I'm sure it works using a smartphone, too.

Here's how to do photos: http://forum.gibson.com/index.php?/topic/11005-sticky-how-to-post-photos/

I would assume it would be similar from a mobile but I don't know for certain. You do need an outside provider for photo storage.

There's a free Photobucket app for iPhones and Android phones. You can upload your photos straight from the phone's storage to Photobucket.
