Rd4m
Greetings. I'm new to this forum and new to Epiphone Guitars. I've been playing Fenders for over 30 years. To be honest I've never had an Epiphone catch my eye until I saw the Gary Clark Jr. Blak and Blu on the American Musical Supply website and I had to have it. So I've preordered one and am now waiting. My question is Does anyone know the projected date that these will be available? Thanks in advance for your replies Ray

Thanks in advance for your replies Ray Found this; says "spring" which is a bit of a loose definition, but I'd imagine that will be sooner rather than later. Was there anything in your order confirmation to suggest a delivery estimate, etc? http://www.guitarworld.com/epiphone-announces-gary-clark-jr-blak-and-blu-casino
Matt4356
Don't hold your breath, I pre ordered my uj sherri in march last year, also due for spring delivery, I got it October 21st! I think the US was later than that! Check out the thread! Hopefully it won't be as long for you, but it will be worth it anyway!
cunningham26
It seems like a ton of epi's are on a vague backorder. My best guess is that they're in a shipping container off LA waiting to come into the country. Many industries having issues with the backlog after the end of the longshoreman's strike. I think I got the last mahogany epi caballero in north america! good luck in the search or the wait!
Whitmore Willy
Rd4m, Congrats. I'm sure it will be worth the wait. Got to love the Blues!!! Never seen a guitar that doesn't look good in it. My '05 Paul: Did you decide on the Trapeze Tailpiece or Bigsby? Willy

Rd4m
Pesh, I ordered the Casino on March 11th. AMS said that it should ship on March 13th. When it didn't ,I called and they stated that the shipment had been pushed back and they had no definitive date from Epiphone. I really don't mind the wait, but I ordered a case for the guitar which they shipped and I received two days later.....now every time I open my closet I see this empty case that should contain my new baby. My '05 Paul: Did you decide on the Trapeze Tailpiece or Bigsby? Willy Willy, I went with the trapeze tailpiece as I know nothing about Bigsbys and I'm not sure of the stability of them. And if the trapeze was good enough for Lennon than its good enough for me. BTW that is one nice looking Paul Ray
Dennis G
I went with the trapeze tailpiece as I know nothing about Bigsbys and I'm not sure of the stability of them. And if the trapeze was good enough for Lennon than its good enough for me. I kept my Elitist Casino stock for a while but then had the Bigsby installed. I don't use it much, but it's there when I want it. And good luck with the BnB Casino!

Scott0
based on my experience, my advices to you is to forget you bought this guitar and when it arrives sometime in late 2015/early 2016, you'll be surprised and elated.
Rd4m
I was notified today that the guitar should ship May 11. Is this something Epi did with the UJ? Did they issue a date and keep pushing it back? I really hope I'm not waiting until the end of the year for this thing. Guitar World reviewed it in this months issue and now I'm even more excited. Rd4m
Alright it's only 7 days shy of two months since my order was placed. According to AMS the guitars should arrive and ship tomorrow. ***fingers crossed***. Hopefully by this time Wednesday I can post pictures and a brief hands on review.
