What is Roy Clark's Gibson?

Think it has a Byrdland tailpiece, Charlie Christian pup and P90....a one-off Venetian cutaway Byrdland?

This has been asked before on other forums so with a little Google time I found it's probably a Byrdland - from 1960 - 1968 they had that style cutaway rather than the more rounded style.

Man can he play or what?

Or what! Pour yourself an adult beverage, go to YouTube, search for Roy Clark and just enjoy. He can do it all, fiddle, banjo, and guitar in all styles. Definitely one of the all time greats. And his singing voice isn't bad either!

Uncle Teddy guitar with Chuck Christian pickups...I like it. How come the only Country guy that has a sig guitar is Dwight Yoakum with that Casino thing? I bet Roy Clark fans would scarf one of those (Florentine Thinline Byrdland) up quick...but then again, he played a lotta different stuff...he was the sole reason I watched "Hee Haw" back in the day, and when Chet Atkins was a guest, and those 2 got together for one of there 'Call-Response' things they always did, I was in guitar Heaven...

Another sweet custom oddball, a Gretsch with Gibson Custom 400 (?) neck.

Ahh yes, the Black Falcon. Super 400 neck with replaced Sho-Bud steel guitar pickups. The original neck was broken so I guess he had the Gibson logo painted over not to make waves.
