btoth76
Hello! I was looking for a Schaller Harmonica bridge, for quite long time now. They are very expensive new. I came across this: http://www.allparts.com/GB-0510-010-Chrome-Bridge-for-Gibson-SG_p_1534.html It says, for SG...Does anyone now, is it really different from the LP version? I am looking for one for my Recording. (Well, I could measure the post distance...I just left most of my tools at my country-side house, after moving to the capital). Thank You in advance! Best wishes... Bence
L5Larry
Yes, it IS the same harmonica bridge, there is only one. It is simply advertised as an "SG" bridge because it was used on more SG models. Item on interest: The original harmonica bridge was manufactured for Gibson by Schaller of Germany. Schaller was contracted by Gibson at various times to mfg certain hardware items. So... if you have a bridge or tailpiece on your Gibson, that is stamped "Made In Germany", not only is it most likely an "original" part, it was mfg'd by one of the most respect guitar hardware makers around.
