Marco Montero
Hello everyone , I am new to the forum and have a question a little silly , I know it is subjective and that an instrument is not better than another only for the year it was made . Well , I own a Gibson Les Paul Standard 1988 and this has an impressive tone and a beautiful sound , love it! A month ago I had the opportunity to purchase a Standard 2003 with Burst Buckers Pro , this looks and sounds great , but I like the sound of my oldest guitar. Yesterday a friend offered to give me a Les Paul Standard 92 in exchange for my Standard 2003. What would you do? Do you guys think it's a good deal? Anyone has compared this two specific years? What about the wood and pick-ups? Which one has greater value? I don't know much about these guitars of the 90 's. By the way, i'm sorry about the english but is not my native language so I hope that you have understood me and can help me. Thank you very much!
