photodusty
Tomorrow I am going to set out and play a 2001 J45 Standard. I have not heard no officially seen one from this year. Anyone have any insight on the qualities/sounds of the 2001 era j45's? db
photodusty
Also the chance for a 1967 J-45.....It is supposed to be in excellent condition.....anyone with a '67 want to chime in? db
CAMELEYE
'67s have the narrow neck, 1 9/16" I think. Bet the '01 Standard sounds a lot like most of the newer ones.
Phelonious Ponk
The '01 is probably the better bet. P
vw1300
I'm happy with my '01 J-50. It doesn't sound quite like a new guitar, it's opened up a little bit. I figure it has the advantages of still being relatively new, stable, and not very expensive - but with some played-in sound at the same time.
