bluuzydude
Hello guys and gals, My robot guitar has quit tuning itself. What I do know so far is that the G on the back of the headstock no longer has the blue glow, there is a loose wire coming from the master board from the group marked POT, that feed to the MCK pot controller itself inside the volume, tone cavity in back. It is a green wire and was once attached to the (I suspect) MCK pot controller. If you can help me locate where this green wire should go on the MCK pot, I would greatly appreciate it. Also, what color does your master controller illuminate inside the cavity when it's doing it's job. I love this guitar but, it's maddening to have it not tune itself. Cheers, bluuzydude. billymagnum
if you look at the pots or the MCK you can't see any indication of where a solder joint that broke? there are just a couple pictures that may help if you google "gibson mck wiring" but beyond that an this diagram i found in the owner's manual, i don't know what to tell you.
