I was asking on here about a cheap multitracker recently - ended up buying a Boss BR80 and this is the first recording I made with it:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jA8IzXiYvr0

I used my beloved EJ160e recorded through the built in mics; have since recorded a few more tunes all with a Harley Benton fake Casino/Dot copy from the German website Thomann. Unbelievable guitar for £100 although haven't heard it through an amp yet but it sounds good plugged into the BR80. Can't recommend the multitracker enough - it's amazing for the price as well (mine cost £130 from Amazon).

Have a listen and give me a shout back if you don't mind; there's a picture of me playing my Epi on the video as well!

You've captured that 60s Psychedelic sound there Dodger. Very good [thumbup]

I've looked at that HB a few times and it seems to have a lot of good feedback - those Harley Benton's all seem to be very good for the price. They have some nice Teles and acoustics - some are all sold for around £230 although just looking now they don't seem to have many in stock - most are B stock

thanks for taking the time to listen Mick - the HB ES35 I got is amazing at the price - i have almost pulled the trigger on the 52 Tele and a couple of the acoustics - might still in the future...

Dodger your songwriting and performing abilities are beginning to become as good as your amazing artistic ones.

Keep up the good work.

Thanks again for the awesome pictures, they are much appreciated and valued.

JD

Thanks for your kind words JD (and taking the time to listen)

much appreciated

The Boss Micro BR80 should take a lot of the credit though!

Pleasure to do the picture as well and not a match for your own kind gesture!

Sounded good I like the guitar work .

I'm not sure if it's on my end but kind of sounds like your recording has latency issues where tracks are slightly off from each other but maybe I got that wrong sorry if so .

Besides the boss80 if your only interested in multi track audio recording may I recommend Kristal Audio engine

It's a free 16 track audio Daw for Pc

It's old but easy to learn and sounds great

It run vst's but no midi . You can get a boat load of vst's that rival some high end Daws all for free.

Kristal audio 2 is what became presonis studio 1 Daw

You would need an interface for the Pc which are easily available.

Can't to hear more tunes ;)

Aye you're right mate - there are latency issues but it's probably me rather than the gadget as they were mostly first takes and my first time in ages playing along with a (virtual) drumkit. Hopefully my timing will improve with practice. Many thanks for taking the time to listen [thumbup]
