RobertAndersson
forgot where I put my manual for the Min E-tune system on my LP Signature 2014, so I searched the net. To my surprise I found that they changed the instruction for how to restring: Original manual found on the Gibson website: http://images.gibson...30315_EN_V2.pdf New instruction on Tronical download site: http://www.tronical....ual_2.12eng.pdf They seem to have found out that winding the string the other way around makes the string more stable. //Robert
Searcy
Thanks for the update Robert. I'll try that next time I change strings.

weldaar
Is this mini Etune standard or is it an option?
billymagnum
Is this mini Etune standard or is it an option? pretty much standard for the last couple of years. they can be found on most models from 2014 and 2015. the 2015s offer a slight software upgrade. weldaar
Thanx. Trying to find one without. I prefer old school.
billymagnum
Thanx. Trying to find one without. I prefer old school. Don't let that hold you back! You can replace with normal tuners relatively easily and sell the minetune system. Don't over look specifically 2014 models because of the system! HEADKNOCKER
I wonder are the threaded locking nuts all six right hand thread? Or are three Left & three Right hand thread? Just a question.. Seen these in action @ The Guitar stores but have never owned anything newer than a 2013 Gibson without Robot

Seen these in action @ The Guitar stores but have never owned anything newer than a 2013 Gibson without Robot My 2014 definitely had all normal righty tighty nuts. Can't speak for 2015 but I assume it would be a waste of money to make two differently threaded posts and two different nuts
