ruanbortolotto Posted May 17, 2015 Share Posted May 17, 2015 Hey guys, just got my hands on this one, but i'm not really sure about something, the serial number it's stamped on the back of the headstock on some kind of decal. I contacted Gibson's costumer service, and they told me that it seems to be a 1976 LP Custom. But on http://www.guitardaterproject.org/gibson.aspx if I select "Ink Stamped / Decal unto back of headstock" and write the serial, it shows me '2007'. It really looks like a 76, but there is another thing... it has grover tuners, what gives one point to 2007. Of course a previous owner could have changed the tuners. So, what do you think?
