iommifan
I appreciate the help on my 2013 50's tribute sg. Could anyone help me with the pickup height on the bridge p90. I know it is pretty much personal taste. But what is a good starting measurement for the pickups. I really appreciate any input. Thanks iommifan

iommifan
Thanks for the help. I think the problem I was having with the bridge pickup is that it was close enough that sometimes my hand would push the string into the pickup.
DynoByte
Yeah that can take a bit of getting used to. When I first started playing strats it was a bit of a rough go, always hitting the volume control and the pickups. It didn't really take much time to adjust to that and now there's no issues at all. I think it's good for a player to be versatile and play/own many different kinds of guitars, it's amazing how quickly you adjust and always have the right tool for the job. kidblast
I've got mine set at around 4/64s you could start there to measure, fret the high and low e string at the last fret. look at the distance from the pole under the E strings to the bottom of each E string

10K-DB
Depends on how aggressive your picking hand lands on the strings,,wouldnt want to "hit" the strings on the PU while playing,,
