tnk
Just purchased a 2004 CS LP Elegant in almost like new condition. No scratches, buckle rash, etc. Paid 2500, don't know much about this model any info would be greatly appreciated... Thanks!
CR9
The size and shape of the chambers changed over the years and in 2004 they became basically the same as the new Chambered Reissues (CR serial number) Early chambers were kind of kidney shaped: The newer chambers: 2004: 2000:
tnk
ThanksCR9, this info is very helpful. Appreciate all the help. It came in a tan Gibson USA case, does this seem like the correct case or should it have been in a black custom shop case? So far love the guitar, plays like a dream. Thanks again for all the assistance. This is my first Gibson and feel certain I will own many more.
CR9
The 2000 Elegant that I once owned came in a tan Gibson USA case as well. Maybe we both got the wrong case? Wish I still had that Elegant. If you like the Elegant, make sure you get to try a few of the chambered reissues (they will ave a serial number that starts with"CR" )
