Berd
has anyone tried using a push pull tone pot with different capacitor values on each throw? Thoughts? Berd.
merciful-evans
Push pull tine pots? yes. different capacitors? dont know! Do you simply mean how its wired, or are you getting tone inconsistencies?
btoth76
Hello! Interesting idea. A similiar concept was used on Les Paul Recording guitars, but instead of a push/pull pot, it had a 11-position rotary selector operated decade-box. Cheers... daveg
Bence, I am not sure that the same thing would work in High Impedance. The Varitone setup of the ES355 might work with just a single Push Pull Switch. DG
Berd
I enjoy playing with the electronics. In looking at tone knob options you can select 10n or 68n caps. Rather than decide, I was wondering if anyone had experimented with two different caps on the tone knob using a push pull. Push pull tine pots? yes. different capacitors? dont know! Do you simply mean how its wired, or are you getting tone inconsistencies?
