Larsongs
For Fathers Day my Daughter & Son in law surprised me with an immaculate 2006 Peerless Epi Casino w/Bigsby. It must have spent its life in a Closet because it is like new. No scratches, dings, Knicks or Fret ware. Very little playing done on this Guitar. Too bad for them! It's like the George Harrison & Paul Mc Cartney Casinos! The Guitar is beautifully crafted & finished. The Burst is beautiful & the detail is excellent. It feels great. The neck is easy & comfortable end to end. It plays as good as my other Gibsons & Epiphones. 2 of which are higher end Casinos. It seems to do everything well. The only thing I might nit is the USA P90's in my other Casinos sounder better. The Peerless are brighter & maybe a bit harsh. But honestly I haven't played it enough to maybe know how best to dial it in? I really like it. I know they were ltd. production & only built one year. 2006. Why they stopped I don't know. They don't seem to come on the Market very often & go quick when they do. I've tried to buy them before. I can't find to much information about them? Was there ever any official write up by Peerless or Epiphone or anyone else about these Guitars? Other than the standard Musicianfriend type Write. The who, what, where, when & why stuff. Here are some Pics. Thanks, Lucky

That's a beautiful Casino, the vintage sunburst on Epiphones is IMHO better than the Gibson scheme that paints the entire horn area rather than putting the burst carefully around the horns, as Epiphone does. It just showcases the classic hollow-body so well! :) I have become much more appreciative of Epiphone guitars since buying my first Epi electric, my ES339 Pro, a really fine guitar. Wishing for you to have the enjoyment and pleasure that mine has brought me, Larsongs!
