2014 SGJ

Remove them, place them on top of an old cardboard box, and spray them with oven cleaner.

Let it stay on there for 20 minutes or so, and then rinse them off really well.

The acids in the oven cleaner will age them beautifully.

I WOULD advise waxing them down afterwards with a good paste wax, to keep them from rusting.

Hey all. I bought the 2014 SGJ and thought it was missing some SG style. So I added a pickguard and 57 classics. Now I'm just wondering how to get the pickup covers aged. Any suggestions? Thanks.

My Daughter just bought one - lovely bit of Gibson magic if you ask me! post-72720-035560400 1435936211_thumb.jpg [thumbup]
