merciful-evans
Hey Bence. I bought a guitar at Guitar Village shortly after Xmas. Its a great old shop in a terrace, but there are 3 floors to explore. The staff are well informed & they have some fabulous archtops there.
btoth76
Hello! Thanks for the assesment on the shop. When I can't find something locally, I prefer to buy them from the UK. I have outstanding experiences with British sellers. They are polite, and reliable people, in my opinion. Worth mentioning the following: Guitarguitar is great - I bought my L6S from them unseen, and I received the guitar in perfect condition. Chris Alsop's shop - great luthiers tools and parts. The Guitar Repair Workshop Manchester - I buy Virtuoso Polish from them. Great, helpful and very nice people. Cheers... Bence
Mr. C.O. Jones
I guess I'm totally nuts, after buying the Traditional last month both guitars I own are Lesters. And now thinking what would I pick if I wanted another one? Would it be a Strat or an SG? No, I would take that GT! At least I could say it has P90's and f-holes. Crazy!!! btoth76
Hello Marcos! P-90s have very special character. Raw and spicy overdriven, round and jazzy when used clean. Give them a try. You see, I have three LPs: one with PAFs, another with P90s, and one with stacked low-Z humbuckers. Despite the same shape, they are very different instruments. Ah, and don't forget about Teles! Interestingly, those who love LPs, also love Teles. Cheers... Bence
btoth76
Hello 4Hayden! Call me an idiot, but from this year's range, I feel GAS for the classic white version of this: Gibson Les Paul Custom '74. By the way, did You guys notice that the '68 Reissue Custom is back too? Cheers... Bence
Mike_L
Thanks for sharing Bence! That Tobacco Burst Custom LP is the prettiest LP I've seen in a long time. I can't justify a third... for now
btoth76
You are welcome, Mike! The '74 Custom in classic white makes my eyes wet! The only instrument, I'd sell most of my current guitars for. Cheers... Bence
