cody78
That Epiphone does sound great. I don't get why some people get so hung up on replacing pickups, I've never replaced the pickups in any of my Epiphones and I'm quite happy with the sound of them all. gwardealy
the things sounds pretty good. all i did was take off the pick guard. i don't like the feel of the volume/tone controls. They are not very responsive and when you get near zero they just cut out instead of getting softer. So those may be replaced http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PSPSXpY6i7o
BobF_
Sounds great. Are those ProBucker pups by chance? I've had two Epis with ProBuckers. They're pretty darn good, IMO.
gwardealy
yes...it's a recent made in China model. They aren't real hot pickups. But i like that. I can get gain from the amp if I want more. Think pickup that are not real hot have more clarity.
kidblast
my son recently bought a tribute with those pickups. I was very surprised with how good they sound, and also with the entire package. for the money, hard to find anything to moan about.

The Black Beauty doesn't have ProBuckers. They have the generic Epiphone Alnico Classics.
