peepesg Posted August 2, 2015 Share Posted August 2, 2015 Hey guys! rencently I bought an epiphone sg g-400 (I know this is gibson section but I think here somebody can answer me quicly lol) so the thing is, I want use strings gauge 12 (ernie ball - Not even slinky) but im scarred to broke my neck or something :/ why? because i read that sg's aren't baritone so, somebody used this kind of strings before on his sg? L5Larry Posted August 2, 2015 Share Posted August 2, 2015 Although not an SG owner, I do use 12 gauge strings on all my solid bodies and semis (LP, ES, Strat).
