pweis
I purchased an Epiphone Les Paul Jr for $100 from GC. It is my first electric guitar and I didn't want to spend a lot of money because I wasn't sure if I'd like it or not. I play acoustic and the banjo. I like it but the intonation is off even after I adjusted the wrap around bridge. and the tuners don't seem up to par. I see some adjustable wrap around bridges for cheap and I was thinking of putting in some Grover Roto matics. Any recommendations or thoughts re: bridge and tuner improvements for a budget musician would be greatly appreciated.
Gary J.
Check GC, they usually have a pretty good variety of parts and they can suggest something suitable.
Junior Jr III
You might try GFS (Guitar Fetish). I bought sets of their Keystone tuners for both of my Juniors and they worked just fine. I also upgraded the bridges to compensated wraparounds from GFS. I did one all black hardware and the other in gold. Then I sold them. Then I replaced them (see avatar) http://www.guitarfetish.com/Gibson-Style-Three-On-A-Side_c_6.html
