skilsaw
Up until now I have been a Gibson man. yesterday I was in the local guitar emporium and saw a Stratocaster that called my name. I didn't buy it but I've been feeling like I've been unfaithful to my Les Paul. Real adultery. Is this normal?
HEADKNOCKER
You shouldn't feel that away.. You should try all different types of gear even if they aren't Gibsons.. Feeling guilty about it towards your LP, not normal :P :)

Pesh
No betrayal at all; get the Fender! I've got 2 LP's, but at the moment I've got my eye on a Fender-shaped beasty.
Kaiser Bill
There is "No crying in baseball" and no loyalty (that I've ever seen) in guitar ownership. This gives you the freedom to be happy (or in some cases) disappointed equally. Do what makes you feel good.
american cheez
trust me, those girls will get along better than you think. mine are the best of friends! http://i152.photobucket.com/albums/s180/cheezyridr/Mobile%20Uploads/1cb9f558-bc39-44dc-bb69-094d7d4a6008.jpg
skilsaw
OK, it's unanimous. Bigamous guitar ownership is nothing to be ashamed of. I'm so relieved. Used the term "guitar emporium" in the generic sense. A treasure trove ...
HEADKNOCKER
Roger that on the "Guitar Emporium" GAS is GAS no matter what the brand.. Once you've been bitten you'll LUST until you quench the thirst.. Good Luck in your Quest for Tone!!
J.4knee
Feel no shame or guilt. I am a Fender guy who bought a Les Paul, not a sprig of guilt anywhere. If you like the Strat get it. Your the one playing it if it feels good and sounds good to you ....It is!!
