alanhoggard
Hello, I have a 2010 SG Standard and the Scale Length is 24.5". Is this normal? It measures 12-1/4" at the 12th fret. I laid it against the fretboard of another guitar that is 24-3/4" and the SG is def shorter scale. Any ideas? Thanks

btoth76
Hello! That 6mm of difference. Too much. Measure from inner edge of the nut to the centerline of bridge between D and G saddles. Best wishes... Bence
capmaster
Hello Alan, and welcome here. This deviation really makes me wonder. What gauge did you use for measurement? What else guitar did you use for comparison? Could you post pictures of your SG please?
alanhoggard
I also have a 2010 SG Standard and the scale is 24.5" scale, no idea why. I have 3 other guitars and they are all 24.75" scale.
