garimh Posted September 13, 2015 Share Posted September 13, 2015 Got my DR500MCE last month and was bit bummed to take it out of case today and see a pickup wire hanging down in the guitar. The sticky bit that attaches to guitar had obviously come loose. I can stick it back on but not sure if there is a particular place it's supposed to go. It's the pickup closest to hole so I simply stuck it back on to the left of the hole (if the guitar is standing up and you're facing it). Is that the right place? And wondering if this is common or perhaps a defect since it's only a month old. Will take it back to Sam Ash if it drops again and assume they'll just apply more glue to keep it on?
