MorrisrownSal
I spent the night at my childhood home this past Thursday night, and spent the afternoon sitting with my dad in his garden. And then I played a gig :) Anyways spending the time with my dad is what made me think of this song... https://soundcloud.com/sal-from-chatham/desperadoes-waiting-for-a

flatbaroque
Yep that's a good one Sal.I reckon every Gibson acoustic owner who can warble a tune needs to give that one a go sometime.Nice version! But I'd stay out of that Green Frog cafe if I was you. I always get in trouble when I go there
Smurfbird
Cool, Sal! I always think of Tom Rush's cover of this tune. Rush was rarely better than the people he covered (Joni Mitchell, Jackson Browne, James Taylor), but he always did credible covers that make me wish he'd recorded more and retained the quality control of his landmark, Circle Game album. MissouriPicker
Another good one, Sal. I like your rendition better than the one The Highwaymen did. I think their version gets way-too-loud at the chorus. This one sounds more reverent. Good job.
Jesse_Dylan
Great job! I love Guy Clark. I'm not sure he's even reached his peak yet. Each album gets better.
