Musicman1952
Recently a Gibson Duane Eddy Signature guitar came up for sale and I tried get some information on the model prior to making any offers. Other than the sales literature, there is little out there concerning value, quantity made etc.. Does anyone know about this model or if there is a website with more info in it? I sent an email to Vintage Guitar to see if the could give me more info but no response. Thanks
jdgm
There was one on ebay about a year ago. The seller thought there were only about 40-50 of these made; a very high-quality L5-type guitar with a Bigsby, Filtertron-type pups and a piezo pup too, beautiful woods. I'd have bought it (from just looking at the pictures which he posted) if I'd had the money and had not also recently bought an ES175. The one on ebay had case, COA, all the little extras....a very nice guitar indeed I think but I only saw pictures. Here -
daveg
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pzBQJ_T45L0 I think that the PUs are DeArmond as per the Guild Duane Eddy model (or lookalikes). DG
