That Casino is YOU!

I finally took my Casino to its first jam session this past weekend. In the past, Ive used SG's, V's, Strats, etc. I started out with a MIM Strat, and then I told them, Im breaking out something new....an EPI CASINO. Had to dial in the sound...as Feedback became the first issue, of course....but once we got it....had a sweet sound! Covered all bases,,,Foghat, stones, nugent, dio, ac/dc, beatles. The drummer tried it out..."THIS thing is LIGHT!"....exactly its full hollowbody...don't need a back breaker anymore...and he couldn't believe the sound. " its feels different and sounds different" than other guitars he said... EXACTLY! He said..."Man, this guitar is YOU!" HAHA...Casino pulled me thru the jam...the Strat just was a little too thin.

I find myself past few years..going thru guitars, ...strats, V's.,sg's..few Dots,...never found that special one..that was a "keeper" The missus..thought I had a disease or a screw loose...always selling , buying. But, I think this is the one[thumbup]

Casino's fit a niche that just about nothing else can fit, the p90s and the effect of hollow body on the over all sound really does lend itself to something unique. if you can beat the feedback, that is..

I think it's very hard to find "one" that fits all of what we do as individuals. Besides, I think it's way too much fun to have a bunch of nice axes at our disposal.

You're in good company. Referring to his Casino, a well-known musician is on record as saying "If I could have only one electric guitar, it would be this,"

You might have heard of him --- fella by the name of McCartney.

I'm also a new Casino owner and I agree with everything you said. Congratulations! I really love the natural finish. I was originally shopping around for a natural finish Casino but found a good deal on a 61 reissue in royal tan that was meant to be. It was instantaneous bonding. These guitars are the best sounding and playing guitars.

Bam...Revolution Casino (inspired by John Lennon)

her name is Sadie (of course, lol)

love this guitar. i was worried about feedback and the possibility of noisy p90s when i ordered it through my local guitar shop, but it turned out better than i could have ever hoped for. Gibson p90s are quiet (hum-wise), even at stage volume. feedback is manageable. tone is remarkable. this guitar is my number two, for sure.
