bluewaterpig Posted November 7, 2015 Share Posted November 7, 2015 Hi everyone. I couldn't find too much on this specific situation. Here's what's happening... My Gibson case has a common 3-digit lock with the square button. I'm not sure if it's broken or not. As it is right now, I cannot lock it. When I swing the latch down into the slot, it doesn't "click" and won't lock. It can move in and out of the slot freely as if I had the correct combination set, but changing the numbers doesn't do anything. So obviously the internal piece that's supposed to catch the latch isn't in the position it needs to be to lock. Does this mean the internal mechanism is broken?
