Jay9313
So I am restoring an old Gibson GSS-100 and I need to replace the grill cloth on it. It is filthy and covered in holes. It looked like someone buried the amp in the ground for 50 years and dug it up and sold it to me. Anyways, I am looking to replace the grill cloth, and I am trying to find cloth that is as close to what it was originally as seen here (Also, this is not my amp). Any ideas on where I would find this? Thank you guys in advance
sparquelito
The closest I can find is something that is very similar to that found on most old Fender and Peavey amps. https://reverb.com/item/657248-fender-vintage-aged-black-silver-face-guitar-amp-grill-cloth-1-yard-36-x-36?_aid=pla¤cy=USD&pla=1&gclid=CMqazfyYk8kCFVY2gQodkAgC6Q

Jon S.
I would check at www.mojotone.com too. They have a good selection of grill cloths.
Grog
We've been watching for years & never found an exact match for amps of this era. I've had pretty good luck cleaning it & bought amp shells to get the grill cloth, but never found an exact match.
