Jack Fossett
Hey folks I'm new to this forum! Been a Gibson and Epiphone player for years Two of my favorites are my two Casinos which are a standard and elitist - both excellent instruments. I just finished off a video demo of the Standard, and did a demo of the Elitist as well which I'll post later - Enjoy! Jack

rbachman
Thanks Jack for the great video review. I recently got a 2001 Natural Standard Casino and love it !! Wish I could really play it :)
Blujag2013
Got the same guitar same colour. I play through a Vox vt40 and I love it. Great tones and really in your face if it gets cranked up. Goes nicely with my Gibson SG standard traditional.
charlie brown
Nice! Lovely cleans, aren't they?! I'd love to hear you do a "cleaner" less raspy, overdrive, as with a fully cranked Fender tube amp, (Twin or Deluxe Reverb) but NO distortion box. Just the over-driven amp, and those P-90's! That's the "overdrive" sound, that defines the Casino (and ES-330) to Me! But, that's just Me! CB
Jack Fossett
Thanks everyone! Glad you're enjoying the demo - I love this guitar. I'm planning on shooting an Elitist vs. Standard video coming up in the next month or two, I'll share that one once its up. Two of my favorites and I've honestly never once played them back to back - if I ever use a Casino in the studio or live I tend to only bring one, so it will be an interesting endeavor! Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving! Jack

Really cool blend between modern and vintage fuzz tones.

shakey64
that was your video , Jack?? wow...I came across it this past weekend....really enjoyed it..even forwarded it to another Casino fan. ....I had just "rediscovered" the CASINO this weekend...after leaving it in the case for months. I had gone thru a "metal phase" a Dean V and Dean Z that I have....I was gonna sell the Casino to a drummer I know..who loved the sound...but after a week I let him use it...he said he didn't like the neck...and didn't "connect" with it. I brought it back home. Cranked it thru my Marshall...and HOLY MOSES!....I forgot what a great sound this had!...I emailed the drummer and said..THANKS for not buying it..WTF was I thinking! I had a love fest for couple hours with the Casino. A natural color , 2005 model that I got used w/ case at Guitar Center last July for $429. Nothing sounds like it. That's when I was doing a search and came across your excellent video!. Thanks for posting!

Everytime I plug them in I get the same reaction, its like I "rediscover it" every time I play it again. I posted this one in another thread, but for any of you interested, I also did a new video comparing the standard Casino with the Elitist Casino - the tuners on the Elitist are different and there were some pickguard changes, but the guitars wiring, pickup & tonally are exactly as you'd get them at a store: Thanks again!
