Jackswalk
I can't find out anything on this guitar. It sounds beautiful, and is well crafted so I doubt its a fake. I've tried identifying it based on its serial number but that went nowhere. My camera is messed up so don't mind that. Serial number is 918099 without a made in USA stamp. Thank you for your help.http://imgur.com/a/eAYM4
btoth76
Hello and welcome to the Forums! It is an early-mid '70s Gibson SJN-20 (Southern Jumbo Natural) guitar. The serial number format indicates year 1968. But the absence of the "Made in the U.S.A." stamp clearly points out to 70s. As the serial numbers of this format have been reused by the Kalamazoo plant during the decade, I am sure it's a 70s model. Also the font type of the "Gibson" logo tells me it was made then. Very nice! Congratulations. Cheers... Bence
