The truss rod is stiff and I was considering releasing it and applying a little copper grease to the thread. I can't find any suitable literature regarding the construction of these necks. If anyone can point me to some, that would be a big help. Otherwise what does anyone think about fully loosening the rod? Is it possible to get to the thread this way?
