tnk Posted December 7, 2015 Share Posted December 7, 2015 Hello, can anyone help me identify this Gibson? Just inherited it from my father in-law, Gibson Acoustic Steel String Tenor guitar. Looking in the F hole, I see stamped in ink 1418 with a handwritten -24 behind it. Has Grover tuners and the keys protrude back from the round metal gear housing, they do not protrude out the side. The Gibson Logo is in Script with no Dot above the "i"... Arch top w/Sunburst finish. Any help is greatly appreciated! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Gibson has made a number of tenor models, and without a picture, it's hard to know which this is. I haven't found a good source for Gibson tenor identification, but their FON/serial numbers should fall into the standard Gibson system.
