Kenan
Reading all these zero fret nut posts, it suddenly got me thinking (or to be more precise, paranoid :D) what are the chances of Auto Tuner (Mini E Tune/Gforce) wearing out a normal nut? I have a Mini-E-Tune installed on my 70s Tribute, which is using a Corian-made nut. Anyone else thought of this? I checked my nut (...) and I couldn't see any wear on it..but then again, I'm no expert so...what do you guys think?
stein
Don't know how you would see wear on a regular type nut. But either way, it shouldn't. Using auto-tune is no different than tuning yourself.
Pesh
+1 to what Stein said; just because it's the automatic doo-dah; it's about the same amount of string movement over the nut that takes place when you tune manually.
