L5Larry
Unless it's a specifically advertised "Limited Run", where each guitar is numbered XXX of YYY, Gibson does not (as a general rule) release production figures.
sparquelito
I scanned about a dozen different websites that advertise such a 2000 Red Sparkle Les Paul Standard, (limited edition paint), and only one of them described a production run. It was on Reverb dot com, and the guitar was described at '1 of 50'. I can't find any more substantiation than that. My own Les Paul Studio Copper Top was said to be from a limited run of 200, but I have very thin evidence to support such a thing. It's okay, I love her no matter what, or how many brothers and sisters she has. :)
