I have noticed, that under amplification, "mistakes" are also amplified. So, I have been using it as a teaching tool, and it is keeping me more focused and my fingering has improved. ballcorner Posted February 27, 2008 Share Posted February 27, 2008 Fender's Acoustasonic series amps have string dynamics dials that help cover some of those mistakes by filtering out string squawk and top knocks. I find the same as you - that amplified playing really does improve your technical skill, but I still prefer a natural acoustic sound. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
