I have joe pass with serial number 99080167 When I put the number through the serial number finder it comes up as being made in Korea in August 1999 I am trying to verify it is legit before I try and sell it. I am a bit confused because, from what I understand, there should be a letter before the serial number to determine the factory and country of origin. Does anyone have any insight on this? I dont know what the criteria was to determine whether or not it received a factory designation, but some were just numbers.
