giordano58
Hello! I want to know if the deck of the ES-175 is mobile. The bridge of my Epiphone ES-175 is as shown below. It's normal? It should not be floating?
capmaster
To be honest I'm not sure about the Epiphone, and I don't own any guitar with a floating bridge, but I guess it should be floating. All the Gibson ES-175 I know of have floating bridges.
LPS1976
Hello! I want to know if the deck of the ES-175 is mobile. The bridge of my Epiphone ES-175 is as shown below. It's normal? It should not be floating? those bridges are "pinned". normal on the Epiphone ES-175. I guess you could move it around by backing the posts out so they don't come out of the bottom of the bridge if you wanted. unless you are having major intonation issues; I would leave it. Pinch
Not quite sure what the original question is, but I'm guessing intonation issues? The bridge looks perfectly normal to me. I'd recommend a saddle flip if you have an intonation issue. From looking at the pic, the saddles look perfectly normal. Actually, better than normal.
