bjornp
I just bought a Les Paul Special with a wrap around bridge. The strings are set so low the first string is constantly bussing. The manual doesn't say anything about a wrap around bridge or how to adjust it. It says something about a Tone Pro Locking Bridge. Is this it? Is says that i have to loosen the allen screws first. There are two small "screws" on the back of the bridge. To adjust them i guess i need to use the middle sized allen key? It doesn't fit the hole in the screw. What is the size of the allen key i need? Björn PS Gibson should make videos on how to adjust the guitars.
redcoats1976
the allen screws are to adjust your intonation, while the big flathead screws are to raise or lower string heigth.you will have to loosen them to raise bridge heigth, and when its set to where you want readjust the allen screws to set your intonation. capmaster
To avoid damage tuning strings completely down for adjustment is very recommendable.
bjornp
It's a Les Paul Special with a wrap around bridge and you can't intonate it. I'm talking about the allen screws that fixate the height of the bridge. What i need to know now is what size the allen key is that adjust the brass nut? The keys that comes with the guitar is the wrong size.
