Hummingbird or songwriter?

Since theres always a nice discussion on this board when it comes to hummingbird pros / Hummingbirds and songwriters, I thought you guys will find this one interesting.

I found it on my endless cruise through the inventory of german gibson dealers.

Me thinks this is a bird, though it looks quite weird.

Thanx for posting this, , , we have to say strrrange Bird.

No doubt the ordinary square body-shape, not the Songwriter or Pro.

Need to hear a Tube-clip before throwing the dice. But for now, I would have preferred a black or dark mono-chrome guard.

The trad. flora/fauna gets kinda choked by the chocolate top.

Have to give Bozeman credit for never standing still.

Indeed, the wings move but the bird appears motionless.

Obviously a Hummingbird. Wildwood has 5 of these on their website.

Wowsers! a half dozen different Hummingbird variations on the species. And for the Koa Elite - $5K! The abalone fret markers really POP !

I prefer the traditional spruce and 'hog. But, the one with Koa b/s might be real nice. Kia is described by luthiers to sound a little brighter though - a cross between rosewood and mahogany. Certainly more attractive than either.
