Recommended Posts

Here's of series of blues guitar lessons Duke and I did based on Duke's blues-a-rama ... where Duke plays an 18 minute tribute up the neck to his favorite blues guitarists ... from Muddy, to Freddie, to BB to Albert ... you can check out the solo here ....

Wow - that is fantastic. I am just learning Dukes version of "It's my own business" for a rehearsal tonight. and saw this post.

Very inspiring.

Thanks so much.

How to Tune Your Guitar

The only way to truly become an guitar player is to learn the instrument inside out and backwards. There are a number of locations where free, basic guitar lessons can be found. This is great for someone starting out who simply wants to see if the instrument is for them before proceeding to pay for more advanced, professional lessons either in person or online.

For those of you playing a fender blackface amp (Duke used a 65 deluxe reverb reissue - stock) --- the settings for the blues-a-rama video were

volume 3.5

treble 7.5

bass 3.5

reverb 2.5

we added some reverb in the mix too. Enjoy.
